Building management portal
Previously the Online Faculty System
Log changes and manage approval of changes to church buildings, churchyards and their contents within the Church of England.
With an account, you can:
Manage Online Applications for Faculty Permission:
- The system supports the legal process known as the faculty jurisdiction, which governs alterations, repairs, and conservation of these heritage sites. Parishes can submit applications for permission to carry out works on their churches or churchyards.
- These permissions cover a wide range of activities, from significant structural changes to minor repairs or the introduction of items like plaques.
Manage your Minor Works List:
- The system includes a list of items and activities that can be undertaken without formal faculty approval under the "List A" (works that do not require permission) or "List B" (works that require DAC consultation but not full faculty approval).
Faculty Public Notices
This page lists all Faculty Applications that have been submitted on the Online System since the 1st April 2020 that sit within the Public Notice period.
